A bat got into my apartment once and was freaking out and flying in circles. I was a little freaked out too, but you hear so many OMG RABIES stories that I just wanted it gone, lol. But then you see all those super cute bat gifs and I'm like, "AWWWWW I WANT ONE!"

Just not flying around my head at 3am.

Yeah, not a freaked out one that just wants to get out. One that's happy and cool with being where it is. I would be okay with it flying around at 3 am, just not in my bedroom.

Yeah I don't want a bat in a room with me in the real world but a happy domesticated one I would definitely want.

I've seen domesticated foxes on YT.

They were super adorable, but really, notably, not dogs. They were a lot less social, and not wired to learn not to do their business inside.
