But death of the author means you don't have to try and shuffle anything. You can't unhear what the author has said, but you don't have to do anything with it.

It's weird how people get so insistent about how death of the author is the only way to go, but then get super incensed when the author says something new and they don't like it. Just ignore it, dudes.
