Scheduled movers today. I explained that I can only afford four hours of a 2 man crew. The owner was so nice! He was like, "If we go over four hours, I won't charge you for it. And I will give you a third guy to help out." Sometimes small town businesses are so great. ;_;

Unrelated to me but they rediscovered New Guinea Tree Kangaroos! They have not been seen in like 90 years!

Job interview yesterday went well. Court hearing today went well.

I bought a new table and the delivery guys helped me with tightening the screws in my chairs too even though they weren't delivering the chairs. The new table makes me happy in general but having them be really nice was great too.

An elderly guy who collects charity donations outside my work came in the other day and gave me a handmade bracelet. It's made of little braided leather strips and looks awesome. He said I always make his day better when he comes in and he wanted to do something for me. He's a sweetheart. <3

I found an antique silver and oxblood coral Tibetan saddle ring in a junk shop for 8 bucks! I thought the stone was glass but upon inspection with a loupe it's real coral, and a very old, fine piece of coral too, it looks like it was once a large coral bead that broke in half and then the two halves were used as cabochons in other jewelry (like my ring!). There are repousse dragon heads and flames on either side of the stone and aside from needing a polishing cloth it's in excellent condition. Plus, it fits me! Woohoo!!!

my dad put up a birdhouse for me! i dug up two small trees from places they would have been chopped down and replanted them. i got a good deal on some maple syrup!
