That some types of acne are not a matter of bad/improper skincare and people suffering from it just need to find the random drugstore brand of skincare product to simply scrub it away.

Also:
Not everyone thinks everything needs to be called ~beautiful~ to simply not suck. Nice if that helps you but sometimes, things just aren't beautiful or empowering, sometimes they just suck.

Oh man, this. :( I've seen people complain about how gross and unsanitary someone's acne was, likening it to an infection. Way to victim blame there, asshole...

Fucking this. Mine are affected by hormones and always show up right before my period, it's not gonna be magicked away by skincare or "proper diet" (i.e. "don't eat chocolate").

My only option for effective treatment is a medication that woul require me to go take a pregnancy test every month because it's so potentially damaging and it's also known for having a fairly high chance of depression as a by-effect which means I can't risk it because I'm already suffering from depression and don't exactly want to slip into a straight up suicidal mood because of some acne medication.
So... yay.
