They did say that it was all over other posts about the ship, which sounds really unnecessary.

But even if it was just on their own posts, it does seem like there's a trend with this person. I have a fandom acquaintance on twitter who says "there's just no chemistry!!" pretty much every single time there's an interracial pairing (either canon or non-canon but with potential). They've used the "brotherly/sisterly" comment numerous times as well. While there's no requirement to ship any pairing (and chemistry is subjective), when it becomes a trend it does feel like there's some potential discrimination going on so I get where OP is coming from.
