Yeah. I loved the show, and I have a general sort of outsider's affection for the fandom, but I just could never get into the fandom myself. Like...my capacity for cognitive dissonance is just not that strong? A part of me does have a "yes, I ship it, do want" reaction to Will/Hannibal, but if I try to imagine it I immediately end up at "half of this ship is not so much a person as a malignancy in the shape of a person," and for me that's just, like, a brick wall.
