Hey, I crushed on people that were closer to my parents' age than mine when I was a teenager. Hell, I still have crushes like that now. Ain't no shame in that-if they're good-looking, they're good-looking, no matter the age :). And if they seem like cool, smart people, that certainly adds to the attraction. As for the idea of this kind of ship being "lame and dorky", news anchors' jobs are important and valuable, so that would make them cool in my book, I'd say :D.

As for the RPF aspect, eh, if you're just doing stuff like watching their interactions and thinking they'd be cute together and leaving it at that, I don't really see the problem. Crush away and have fun watching, I say!
