I have always called them lie bumps but no one at my job has heard that term before!

So I've always just thought they were pimples, but in the vein of your terms, I grew up believing you only got them if you TOLD lies, so ...?!

I think they're swollen taste buds, at least that's what my mom always called them

I swear I stared at this question for a whole minute completely confused, because I honestly thought you meant tastebuds;; I was wracking my brain trying to figure out if there was some kind of slang or multiple terms for tastebuds I had no clue existed...

... I always thought mouth boils were of the kanker sore variety... But I really have no clue.
