DA. It wasn't that they were drama free, it's that there's a more predatory edge to fandom now. It's a mix of mean girl bullying tactics cloaked in misleading social justice language, or people who actually believe their extremely bastardized version of social justice and act like cult leaders.

There was plenty of fighting and wank, but I never even heard of doxxing before say, 2012. Now being doxxed is something you constantly hear happening to people.
