Ehhh, I don't know about that.

1. It was supposed to be their money in the first place, not hers. The only reason why she had it was because she left him to rot in jail and didn't bail him out even though she had funds.

2. It's maybe justice of a sort for him, not it's not Tandy making amends. Her choice was to keep all the money and let her boyfriend take the fall for the crime they both committed.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it erases her sin in any way, nor is it an acceptable substitute for an apology or repentance.

But I'm pretty sure some of that money came from other sources where Liam was not involved, such as the bribe money.
