I am quitting my job. I have another job, which is basically the SAME job for 4k more a year, and it's only two bus stops further than I ride now. It'd be stupid not to take this chance.

But I'm a mess of anxiety and flail now because I have to go in and give my boss my two weeks notice tomorrow and I've been there eleven years and I love her but I need the money and the change and everything will be fine, but still: oh my god.

lmao no, honestly, I know she'll be sad but she's the greatest person. it's just my own anxiety talking and making a bigger deal of it than it should be.

I totally get your anxiety on this, especially when you've been there so long. But I'm sure she'll be happy for you, and will appreciate you giving notice. We've had a couple of people at my work recently do the whole "yeah I'm leaving town, tomorrow, sorry, bye lol" thing, which screws everything up.
