My parents asked me not to listen to the messages on the answering machine since it is their phone first, and there might be private sensitive info. Fine. But my dad hasn't been listening to the messages. He calls me at 7 tonight to say that the place I interviewed at left a message yesterday. Argh.

Yeah, that's not reasonable. Not that I'm surprise, because very little you've ever said about your parents sounds reasonable. You live there, it's your phone, too. This goes double when it comes to job hunting. Is there any way you can get an inexpensive cell and use that number instead?
