I wish they'd just sent Dax on his way. None of the other Dax hosts remained pretty much in the exact same position as their former hosts (and wasn't that even looked down on in Trill culture in the first place??), and it would have been a fine send-off. If Jadzia had to die, they didn't have to replace her. The galaxy is vast.
