NS3: That is one of my OTPs, but a lot of the fic on that comm is really bad. But it isn't any worse than people pretending any other relationship on that show is all sweetness and light given the amount of PTSD that is floating around in that universe. (I will read 3M when somebody writes one where they're as fucked up as they actually would be. At least some Mylar writers dare to go there.)

But she ain't a masochist for emotional pain, and that would be emotional pain, not so much physical. I mean, not compared to some of the shit that has happened to her.

Well, he's a telekinetic. He could actively physically hurt her, and probably wouldn't be too bothered by the idea.

Er. Nobody who isn't a glutton for emotional punishment dates a jerk like West. (Also, I think that if you thought he was special and made him feel special, Sylar...would probably be good to you. But watch out anyone who was bad to you.)

Either. I kind of hated him; I felt bad about what House did to him, but after he started screwing everyone else over to get at House, my sympathy vanished entirely, and also I really hate the way they handle House's drug issues on the show. (If they wanted to make him an addict because Holmes was an addict, they should have just...made him an addict. Chronic pain patients aren't addicts. They will behave exactly like addicts, but that's because addicts and chronic pain patients both are in severe pain when they run out of drugs; the difference is that addicts are in pain because they started using for no reason, and chronic pain patients actually need the drugs for physiological reasons. House is on the wrong drug for what's allegedly wrong with him but that's the fault of the doctor who first evaluated him.)

I work in a teaching hospital. Many things are different from PPTH (frex, you don't go from being an intensivist to being a diagnostics fellow and then become a SURGEON without lots of interim training; but many things are kind of exactly the same, including the ways in which people are assholes--the difference is the law limits how much of an asshole they can be.)

Anyhow, I think that if I had wanted Tritter to win, I wouldn't have felt bad about it. House deserved some kind of punishment for what he did. But a jail term would kind of screw up the whole show, and Chase and Cameron and Foreman and especially Wilson didn't deserve to be in the positions they were in.

See, that's exactly I feel bad about not hating him. I loathe bullying policeman, I think it's one of the worst things in the world. And you shouldn't be tortured because someone close to you is an ass. So I was totally prepared to hate his guts and instead I found myself ... not. Which is what confuses me really!

1. Did you think he was sexy? Sometimes that can affect your judgement.

2. Was there something about him that reminded you of yourself? That always affects MY judgement. (I forgave Sylar just about everything because his mother is exactly like mine @@;;;;)
