Seriously, I wouldn't mind Claire/Sylar, if only because the spoilers I hear say they have a civil conversation while he's poking through her brain, and the idea of Noah as father-in-law to Sylar is sort of hilarious. (Also, sorry, but all those pictures of Sylar hanging out with Noah and Claire kind of point in that direction, man.)

Whoa, whoa, whoa, that's not it at all. Well, okay, I do admit to not being much of a fan of Claire or Elle. But it's precisely because I like Maya that I don't want to see her as the mother. She's been through so much crap already; having to carry the baby of her brother's killer is just too much in my book.

The issue I have with Claire/Sylar is that I just can't see her voluntarily sleeping with the guy who cut open her head and rummaged through her brains while she was still conscious.

Unless Claire is insane.

But yup. As of now, neither Claire nor Maya are very likely to want to start a family with Sylar. (Even if Maya was pregnant with an eyebrow baby (and I don't think she is, I don't think they had full-on sex at the motel), she would probably not give the baby to him after the birth. That's psycho behaviour.)

Well, I can't see it being Maya at all. (Maya/Sylar is the same sort of dynamic as Mohinder/Sylar to me, where there's lots of betrayal and people trying to kill each other and hate!sex and death).

But I do hear that Claire at least has a civil conversation with Sylar while he has her head cut open, and all the pictures seem to indicate at least a certain amount of civility, if not actual like. Who knows. It's a flashforward, so maybe somewhere in there ~~Claire's masochistic side~~ Sylar's shining personality comes out.

I see what you mean. But, I was trying to keep it fairly short and sweet for the secret. If I started putting in my reasoning, I probably never would have stopped. I've written multiple essay-length posts on this topic in my LJ; I tend to get kind of long-winded.

Mind you it might be alternate future Gabriel rather than Sylar which might lead to a whole host of possibilities.

Really? Sylar/Claire is the option that'd squick me out the most. She's a sweet teenage girl, he's a crazy serial killer. It's gross. I watched 3x01 at Comic Con and their scenes were probably my favorites, but if the writers were to take their relationship to a sexual level, I'd be seriously disturbed by it.

I think it's probably Elle. Kristin (from E!) said that Elle will be hooking up with someone unexpected in the future, and Allan Arkush said that Kristen and Zach will be working together a lot this season, so I'm pretty sure she's the baby mama.

I think it's because I don't see Claire as particularly innocent anymore. Like I've said elsewhere, I think she's a physical masochist at least, and she certainly seems to have accepted her father's violent occupation with a minimum of fuss. I do think it would be a disturbing pairing, but if it was written as a disturbing pairing I would not be upset. :D
