Yeah, "daddy" seems to a new way for straight bros to joke about how they would be gay for each other if they totally were not gay, because that would be gross.

Lmao! Making it seem shippy was totally his choice though, like he literally holds the other dude's hand and kisses it and is looking at him so lovingly I can't believe he didn't know what he was doing. I don't get why he'd try to 'no homo' it now (and by calling the other dude daddy, no less), he made it homo all on his own in the first place, lol

There's an actor who plays one half of a fandom's main slash ship. He's infamous for always saying in interviews that his character loves the other character... "Like a mother."

I have to say, one actor IMMEDIATELY leapt to mind when I saw this, but I think I'm wrong just because he's not the MAIN antagonist.
