Eeehhhh, I can't really see Sansa being manipulative. Or at least not successfully. As she herself says, she's a slow learner. She's not very good at reading other people's intentions and she's not very clever and she's not very good at lying and playing a role to get what she wants. I think at best she's finally learned to see through it when other people are manipulating HER, but that's a far cry from being able to play those kinds of games herself.

But, I'm 110% down for badass Wolf Queen Sansa in Season 8. I kind of want nothing more for the end of the show than Sansa and Danaerys meeting, and Sansa calling out all of her rampant entitlement and the horrible shit she's done in her mad grab for the Iron Throne. I want someone to finally say, "sorry, but in what way are you better than Cersei or Joffrey or the Boltons?" and Sansa would be the perfect person for that. She's been taken in by so many people's schemes and deceived by their pretty faces and perfect courtly manners over the years, and she's finally learned better. She wouldn't be fooled by someone who acts sweet and then turns around and burns a surrendered army to ashes. She'd be like "Yep, just like Cersei and her wildfire."

I'm in favor of brutally honest and blunt Sansa, who's just totally done with tricks and games and shit. Sansa who's survived all the horrors Westeros could throw at her, and came out stronger for it. Sansa who doesn't NEED to be manipulative because she's winning in other ways.

And then she can marry the Hound and become Queen of the North.
