Re: Unpopular opinions

Yes it should.
It is a drug, one that affects the ability to reason and facilitate. The difference between weed and any other substance is its perception. Even while illegal, (in my country) it was seen as the most 'clean', and 'natural' drug. Too easy to get ahold of, and therefore the least harmful to take...
But I've known drug dealers, my friends the same, and that is not the case. It is not 'safe', it is not 'healthy', it is not 'environmentally friendly'. It is filled with chemicals, and every dirt imaginable by the time it gets to you. Just as bad as every other drug, despite it's popularity.
Too many people don't even know what 'greening out' means any more, because yes, you can have an absolute toxic reaction to weed. It happens, but no body seems to realise it...
The fact that it is not 'physically addictive' does not mean it is not addictive at all. It is mentally addictive- more so given the fact so many think it harmless, and the lie that it gives only a light inebriation to your senses... A friend of mine went to rehab more than a few times, the only drug she couldn't kick was Marijuana. Because it wasn't physical, because it was her own mind telling her she needed more, that it wasn't that bad, and it wouldn't hurt that much.

Mental addictions are the hardest to kick. Weed can impare your mind even more than alcohol. People don't realise the harm it can actually cause. And popularity does not make something 'better', or 'safer', just because so many people are taking it. We should have learned this much with alcohol...

I lost my best fucking friend to this. I wont say nothing anymore.
