DA - something posted publicly online isn't necessarily a free-for-all. If the original commenter is happy about it, fine, but I do not get this derisive attitude towards others who are confused or surprised by someone making secrets based on another person's comments, particularly in a fandom-related community. Fandom in general rightfully takes a pretty dim view of people posting other people's work as if it were their own, even if/when it is anonymous or under a pseudonym. IMO, that should apply to communities like this too.

"confused or surprised" is an interesting way to describe a person who is basically assuming the worst of another person

Lol, ok. You're living a pretty charmed life if you think that's the worst thing to be accused of.

I see context isn't your friend.

Dude, even within this context, this isn’t the worst assumption a person could make about someone else. Please attempt to gain some perspective. People in this thread are merely criticizing or expressing dislike for the practice of taking someone else’s statements and turning them into their own. If you don’t think that’s a big deal in general or for this community, fine, but let’s not pretend like anyone has cast horrible, unforgivable aspersions on secret “stealers”.
