Mo Dao Zu Shi: Liked it a lot. Super high quality for a Chinese production, with the most gorgeous backgrounds. I'm not entirely sure about some of the changes that were made from the novel but I think it worked well for the donghua overall. Pity about the censorship thpugh.

Not really anime but I'm super happy about the second season of Thunderbolt Fantasy.

Aw, censorship as in taking out what seems (from my brief googling) some canon m/m (at least interest if not outright relationship?)

Yeah, Chinese censorship of m/m content is pretty strict. So far, it's not that noticeable because the plot of the first season is still the part where the relationship hasn't developed yet (except for some one-sided feelings) and it's generally very slow burn in the novel as well but they will probably have to tone it down to strong bromance at the most. It feels like the studio tries to get as much past the radar as they can but the options are limited if they don't want the show to get taken off the air.

Not anywhere legal like crunchyroll, I don't think. But it's on most streaming sites like kissanime etc.
It's very much worth reading the novel as well but it's still getting translated.

Oh man, I couldn't start reading something that's not completely translated, lol. I used to get so angry back in younger years when stuff got dropped mid translate, or worse (in the case of things like Zombie Powder), the writer dropped them!

I'd avoid using kissanime and other unofficial streaming sites since they tend to have malware. I'd suggest instead torrenting it from here* using a bittorrent client, like qBittorrent**.

Yeah, torrenting is better for this, just anon asked for streaming so I didn't think of torrents.

Wasn't there another Chinese m/m one? I saw some of it on Crunchyroll. Just following the other comment, too bad that the m/m will have to be censored, but it's pretty cool that m/m is popular enough to become anime at all.

There was Spirit Pact which even had kisses but they were used as "energy transfer" and the original author insists that it's not a romance.

And there's "The Emperor's Strategy" which I haven't watched completely yet because I'm not fond if the animation and Tony find the plot interesting enough.

But yeah, Mo Dao Zu Shi is super popular. It got the full package: anime, audio drama, manhua, live action drama. And the other two novels by the same author are getting several adaptions as well,I'm really happy for her! And there are other BL novels getting anime adaptikns as well!
