Lol! I have never heard anyone talk about 'cis white males' or 'male tears' unless it is in relation to a 'cis white man' who is being either a misogynist or racist or homophobic then... yeah, maybe they do need to be reminded of their privilege.

That's nice for you. Doesn't mean people don't do it just because you've never seen it.

I tend to tune out most people that automatically lump a large group of different people together. Whether its cracking jokes dismissive of SJW or heading off with 'lol cis people, amirite?'. I've found that most people that stick large sections of the population together just so they can dismiss them as being one of 'those people' rarely have intelligent points to make.

If the shoe fits. Honestly most anti-The Last Jedi videos I've seen on youtube are butthurt white guys in a nerd rage about Finn or Rei or Rose and they REALLY hate that purple haired lady.

Yeah, the phrase “SJW” tends to be a giant warning flag.

To be brutally honest, I tune most people out no matter what they say if they don't agree with me. I suspect many people are the same.

i think SJWs have fallen out of use in fandom though and have been transferred to real life problems (because god forbid you think racism is bad) and antis have now taken over the fandom bubble.

I agree. I've seen people who seem to think that people against the antis are "Anti-SJ" types and it pisses me off a bit more than it should when they do because like...Antis are sexist and racist as fuck when they wanna be. Like....anybody who thinks they're on the side of SJ either doesn't know about them enough, or is just kidding themselves

there was (especially initially) a lot of overlap in the way that the terms were used, the people who used them, the people at whom they were directed, etc

Whenever someone mentions SJW to me it's their way of saying they haven't thought through their opinion and just want to be judgmental dicks.

I'm genuinely offended by that woman's terrible bangs. The rest of her is fine but whoever told her those bangs were a good look deserves to be whacked with a large stick for doing her dirty like that.
