I love Anya and screamed when she died. I've always wished that there had been a little time skip so we could see the survivors processing everything but I'm not sure it would have been as well done. The ending we got was as close to perfect as I could have wished so I just headcanon the rest. I don't care about the comics and Buffy ended with the show for me.
