Here in the US, they're starting to show up at dollar stores (at least they are where I live). My friend wanted to buy a whole bunch of them with the intent of flipping them on eBay, but decided it wasn't worth the effort.

As someone who resells shit on eBay, Funko Pops are the LAST thing I would recommend people try to flip. The only ones that are worth the effort are the exclusives and even then that's only if you can buy them at a discount in the first place. (Unless we're talking stuff like the SDCC ones, but that requires actually going to SDCC and waiting in line to get them, which isn't feasible for 99% of the people out there.)
