My biggest gripe other than it being cancelled is that the ending was not a satisfying ending.

Apparently Word of God is Emery/Roman was NOT gonna happen which is just full dumbass, and the mass unconsciousness was only temporary, which thank God and all that.

That's like... the whole premise of the show though?

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the politics and the alien culture stuff even if it was pretty unoriginal and heavy handed, but without the whole Star-Crossed lovers thing, they wouldn't really have a show anymore? Which I guess they don't. Haha.

Late to the party, but make that four!

I didn't see it until last year when it came up in my Netflix recommended list, and I fell in love with it even though I did look up when I started getting hooked if it was just the one season.

Though from what the other anons have said, if that was what the creators were going to go for, I guess my own mental fanfics are better. :\
