I don't even know several of the fandoms of secrets posted here and have no interest in discussing them. What I don't do is comment on those threads because other people might still want to talk about them and it's not my place to try and rain on other peoples' parades.

Sure, I take your point. And I don't object to people talking about it in general, of they have feelings. but I'm tired specifically of how weird and disproportionate a lot of the discussion seems to be.

That's fair. But she's kind of the main figure in that particular scandal, and given the context... well, I can sort of understand why she's taking a lot of heat as a public figure.
