148. Never understood the Yuffie hate (though my team is Tifa/Cid/Mandatory Cloud)...(or, as I named them, Fenchurch/Orville/Mandatory Jeff). I'm one of those dweebs who levels up all my characters, or at least most of them, though, in case you have to go on a hunt that requires an all-female party (FFXII) or an area that allows only men (Suikoden V, and boy that bit my husband in the ass!).

I think it's mostly that Yuffie, you know. Steals all your shit. And she does it at a point in the game that when you get it back and it's all messed up you have no memory of how it was arranged, so you're suddenly all like "Goddammit Yuffie" because you've replaced half your materia before you're back up to the same level of efficiency.

... Or that's how it was for me, but I liked her anyway.

Also, Cid/Barret is too predictable. Barret/Sephiroth is epicly hilarious in every way.

Hm, I didn't have too much of an issue with the materia mess, but maybe I just failing at it to begin with, hah.

I'll admit it. I'm just in Cid/Barret for the obscenities they'd throw at each other. Also, why is there no potential crack pairing for Vincent? Such a manwhore.

I'd sit and like, play with my materia combination until it juuuuuust right and I'd always forget to write it down before Yuffie showed up.

Yeah, but, the possibility that Vincent wants to get in any of their pants exists, thus lessening the resulting cra- Hm. Actually Vincent/Tifa strikes me as the crackiest of those listed, for no particular reason.

I think pretty much anything that isn't Vincent/Angst is crack, so I admit that I use a very loose definition.

Yeah, there used to be this big, long epic Vincent/Tifa fanfic, so there are actually a lot of people who ship it. I don't get it, but hey, they kinda look cute together I guess.

Your tone somehow fails to reassure me.

My point is that Molly is the protagonist, and we were led to believe that she was strong-willed and proactive. But in the very end, she does NOTHING while Jordan saves the universe.

I don't mind him being self-sacrificing or heroic, but not if it means that one of the few examples of a female main character in an action-oriented kid's cartoon ends up being just another damsel in distress with no control over her own destiny. She should have been shown doing SOMETHING.

Oh, I'm not disagreeing with you. It's like a Robot Chicken sketch about M. Night Shyamalan. "WHATTA TWIST!" Nice try, guys. Except their twist gives Molly nothing to do but go on home and achieve her lifelong dream of being daddy's little girl. Yaaaaay.

Do you mean better than Sora? Personally, I think he deserves better than Yori, and that's part of the reason why I ship him with Sora.
