No actually I am quite familiar with Marilyn Manson and his bullshit ideas so I can say with some authority that he is in fact a moron. I think you need to unplug your headphones and get in touch with reality. I'm going to go ahead and assume that you don't pay taxes or live on your own or else you would't have such childish opinions.

People who don't agree with your regular, mainstream political opinions are out of touch with reality and childish, that's a convincing argument you've got right there.

I'm 28, have lived on my own and paid taxes and bills since college. How old are you, dollygrrrl?

Um, yeah. If you actually paid attention to the world around you, you might care enough to vote. But that's cool, if you actually think Marilyn Manson (whom I actually like) should be president, you probably shouldn't be allowed to vote anyway.

I know I shouldn't get upset about things like this, but I can't help it.

I'm a lesbian who grew up in a poor family. I love fandom to death, more than almost anything. But when it comes to who is going to be president, let's keep in mind that we're talking about the guy who will get to say whether or not I have a right to choose, whether or not gay people are abominations or citizens, and whether or not we're going to focus on helping the poor get settled or the rich get richer.

So if you can't get behind any of that, shut the fuck up. I'm gonna go canvass for Obama now.

Agreed. Manson's one of my favorite musicians, but as far as politics go I would much rather hand the presidency to someone who's studied law and been involved with the nation in a positive way. You know, someone who knows what they're doing.

Everyone has opinions, and every opinion is valid. Having an opinion doesn't make one qualified to lead.

Yeah, I want to know what Marilyn Manson is going to do about social security, and how he plans to resolve the Iraq conflict (I'm sure he's well-versed in diplomacy and strategic foreign policy).

Personally I'm hoping for a strikingly new and innovative approach, like solving the social security crisis by eating senior citizens, or something.
