Yeah, he's not *grotesque* or anything, just...a bit weird.
I do like his acting in the Castle/Stephan King thing, but...yeah. :D

On the other hand, I think Cumberbatch is good looking and I know that's not a universal opinion, so you do you.

Ha, yes. I think Cumberbatch looked good in the Strange beard - it gave his face some needed shape and took away from the smallness of his eyes.

But as a rule, he's another one of those 'odd but not horrible, but really odd' guys that i can't say is *wildly attractive*, but does have some good points.

Whether it’s “so and so faked a pregnancy to trap my celebrity crush in a loveless marriage he should’ve married me instead,” “one half of my celebrity otp totally had the other half’s baby they’re just keeping it a secret from the world because of their controlling abusive spouses who won’t let them be together *sob*,” or “my celebrity otp are totally gay for each other and those hateful harpies they call their wives/girlfriends are just beards!”, RPF tinhatting always makes me laugh for a nanosecond until I realize RPF shippers might just be joking, but the tinhatters among them are serious(ly unhinged.)

Totally agreed. It's so incredibly bizarre and a bit sad and very scary. I feel sorry for the actors who have those kinds of people following them around.
