So what's the rest? Genuinely curious since yesterday even the Guardian only mentioned policing. What's the rest of this iceberg we paid for?

At least 2 mil for police if not 4.

The police can apply for a grant in England and Wales to pay for the cost of their policing. Buuut that money comes out a pot Scotland and Northern Ireland pay for too while they don't get to apply for the same payouts. Which is bullshit, even if royals wold never lower themselves to get hitched here.

The 'royals' pay for the wedding but who pays for the royals? Tax payers. We gave them 76 MILLION for 2016-17. So basically her wedding cost at least 4 million and we paid that. The Commonwealth had to send her a present despite many of those nations having bigger issues than some royal waaay down the line of succession. I'm not your google but I'll give you that much. Look it up.

And if folks answer is the royal's make us so much then have them support themselves and be taxed on their income like everyone else.
