AYRT Yes, and since I'm British I will continue to use us tax payers. Which would be "Us" taxpayers at the beginning of a sentence because that's how English works.

No, it isn't. Correct use at the beginning of a sentence would be "we taxpayers". So carry on being wrong if you wish, but cut the misplaced condescension.

They said "Us taxpayers" not "US taxapyers." As in the word "us." I guess the internet really is killing basic capitalization.
