Haha, I feel like this was my comment to a secret a few weeks back. Still true though.

I really can't identify episode writers, screenplay writers, directors, etc.

It's really not that hard to do if you're watching it as a created work of fiction from the start, as opposed to just viewing it as, like, a window into a world that happens not to be real. Not that either way of viewing it is wrong ofc

I can usually pick out who the writer is in the first few minutes. I couldn't tell you how though.

I do this a friend of mine has teased me for it before. I'm sensitive to writing patterns--tropes, turns of phrase, specific characterisations. I could always tell when an ep of NCIS was written by Jesse Stern, or an Andy Berman Psych episo

I can easily tell this by how much the episode makes me want to punch the screen.
