Age gaps are never douchey until the people in them are. Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta Jones are 74 and 49 respectively (and were 28 and 53 when they met in 1998).

Patrick Stewart is 78, and his wife Sunny Ozell is 39. Patrick's son Daniel is 51. That's gotta be a bit awkward, but it's not douchey.

NAYRT—What if their wives died, they were never married in the first place, or their wives were the ones who divorced them? I think divorcing specifically to be with someone else that they’re already seeing or interested in while still married is a douchey thing to do no matter who does it or how old they are (unless one or both spouses were married against their will in which case the one(s) doing the forcing are the douches.

nayrt - Disclaimer: I do find Chris Pratt kinda hot for complicated reasons other than his actual personality. But yeah, he's kind of douchey. The whole closeted Republican Super Christian dudebro thing is unattractive, as is his clueless privileged white guy approach to life. I also like age gap as a kink but still cringe when guys date a woman 10+ younger than they are. Katherine Schwarzenegger is in her late 20s, ffs.
