Sauron. Began life as Mairon, and still calls himself that up until he loses his pretty body. Has a fascinating journey. Is complex. One of the most brilliant characters in fiction. Doesn't simply pound everything into oblivion like his master. He'll make you do his work for him. He'll seduce you. He'll get what he wants without you even knowing you gave it to him. His biggest flaw is his arrogance, and it eventually leads to his destruction.
