Someone requested another crossover meme, but -- why stick with just crossovers? Here's your chance to request things from any fandom you like -- especially if the fandom is small, obscure, or has no request type of meme available. Hopefully someone else will come along and fill it out, or someone else's request will spark something off in your head that you just have to write --

So here you go!

PAN-FANDOM FANWORKS MEME

Anon is on like always!

ETA: Sorry, link list's gone. Realizing it'd exceed the character limit.

Mello watches them walk in circles around the house. The Whammy House. Matt continues to circle it with gasoline, but Mello notices Mamimi stepping up beside him. In comparison to the gas, her cigarette really doesn't smell that bad.

"Burn away your troubles, and burn away your bad memories," She says. He's not sure who she's talking to; but she turns to him and smiles widely. "Even burning away good memories is just solidifying them. If you remember a place that isn't there, other people can't make memories over your own."

He says nothing, and Matt runs up to them and says he's done.

"Burning a place down is a memory in itself," The girl tells him. They hold hands again, and Mello averts his eyes. She doesn't need to be balancing now, so why? He wishes that he didn't have it figured out. Understanding is annoying.

"You wanna do it?" Matt asks the blond, holding out matches. Mello shakes his head.

"If something goes wrong, you should get the scar this time." He sounds distinctly not-bitter.

"Mamimi wants to!" The girl exclaims, holding her hand in the air like she expects to be called on in class. But she burned down the school long ago. Matt smiles, and hands her his matches. Mello hands over his as well, sighing and giving in. He guesses she's a little bit cute, so he can maybe understand why Matt likes her. He doesn't mind if they have to hang out sometimes, but if she's always there, he'll be mad.

He's already mad.

The feeling burns away with the building. Ashes get on their clothes, but not in their eyes. Matt wears his goggles, just in case. When Mello looks down, Matt and Mamimi are holding hands once again. Between the two boys, Mamimi reaches out for Mello's hand. When he pulls away, she pouts and tries again until he gives in.

They run when they hear the sirens, cheeks red and too hot from being so close to the flame. They run down the street and through alleys; between trees and over fences. They hold hands the whole way, and Mamimi needs help over the higher fences. The boys help her together. They hold hands and run, until the sirens feel so close, the red and blue lights are bouncing around them; not chasing, but near, and the flame still feels so warm that they need to run faster, so they let go.

They slow down, when it feels cold. Their insides are warm, but the fire's heat has cooled away. Mello feels himself grinning, and when he looks behind him and sees the other two kissing it doesn't fade.
