Someone requested another crossover meme, but -- why stick with just crossovers? Here's your chance to request things from any fandom you like -- especially if the fandom is small, obscure, or has no request type of meme available. Hopefully someone else will come along and fill it out, or someone else's request will spark something off in your head that you just have to write --
So here you go!
PAN-FANDOM FANWORKS MEME
Anon is on like always!
ETA: Sorry, link list's gone. Realizing it'd exceed the character limit.

If anyone gets where this is from I'll marry you
(Anonymous) 2008-08-20 09:44 pm (UTC)(link)That particular attack seemed to have dumbed the humans down even more. They drifted blankly back and forth from the water supply, gathered what food they could and never seemed to acknowledge Tyki. He'd rather keep it that way, frankly. There were the times someone saw him though, typically it was a child, who'd stop short and quickly scurry back into the village. He could care less if they saw him, though he'd rather they stayed in the dirt hole and he stayed far enough away that he wouldn't catch some sickness.
One child, though, came back, tugging an old man along. Tyki wondered if they'd recognize him as working for the man who nearly wiped out the human species. They didn't, or at least this old man didn't. He had a shocked look and quickly exchanged whispers with the boy before they hurried off.
He couldn't remember how long he was out there, or when he fell asleep, but when he woke up he was nearly neck deep in...fruit.
Fruit. They had buried him in fruit, and a crowd of one-hundred were now gathered around him. Well, he didn't see any pitchforks.
He yawned and dust a banana off his jacket and cast an annoyed look at the crowd. Really, they had fallen a long way from Exorcists, but death by fruit was just dumb.
A little girl toddled forward as Tyki stood up, and he stopped to look at her. She was clutching something to her chest, but as she saw Tyki she squeaked and dropped it at his feet and ran back into the crowd. He looked down and saw a crudely carved totem, looked like an animal of some sort.
Oh. It clicked in his head.
He should have figured nearly being wiped out would change their intelligence level a bit. Of course, he did look different from all of them; nice suit, neat hair, the unusual skin color. Looks like there was some form or worship going on.
He crouched down and pick up the totem, turning it over in his hand and smirking to himself. How interesting humans could be after all.
