It was a beautiful spring day. The birds were chirping, the bees were buzzing, and Lucy was screaming at Charlie Brown.

"You blockhead! Your sister ran off with my man!"

Charlie Brown, looking surprisingly nonplussed, merely shrugged.

"He always did like blondes."

"Grrrrrrr!" She kicked him in the rear and sent him sprawling across the grass.

"She took it better than I would've expected," Schroeder laughed as the angry black-haired girl stormed off the scene. "I expected fires and floods!"

"I just hope Linus takes it as well as she does," Sally sighed. "It will just devastate him to know I've moved on, but he has to realize that if you spend years spurning a girl's affections, she's just gonna leave you in the end!"

"He doesn't know what he's missing," Schroeder said, and kissed her.
