This is my first fic ever, so feel free to tell me whatever you want about it.


"I'm just too pretty, seriously!" Zelos exclaimed as the group yet again defeated a bunch of enemies.

"Zelos," Sheena wondered aloud. "Are you sure you're not gay?"

"G-gay?" Zelos sputtered incredulously. Behind him, Colette blushed a little, and Lloyd just looked puzzled. Genis shook his head.

"Lloyd, you can't tell me you've never heard the word gay before."

"Shut up, Genis! Of course I have! But isn't it obvious?"

"Exactly! What kind of man calls himself pretty, anyway? Wait, Lloyd, 'it's obvious'? Don't tell me you two. . ." Sheena trailed off.

"No way! What do you mean, us two?!?!" Zelos cried.

"I don't get it, Sheena." Lloyd said.

"She means, are you two involved?" Genis sighed.

At this, Colette blushed even more, looking back and forth between Zelos and Lloyd.

"I'm not gay!" Zelos yelped. "Especially not with Lloyd! His clothes are too weird!"

Lloyd was frowning now. "Involved? What does that have to do with being gay? I mean, I've never seen Zelos unhappy or upset, so of course he's gay!"

". . ."

"Lloyd, you know that there are two definitions of gay, right? One means happy, and the other is associated with men liking other men."

Lloyd processed the new information, and then yelled "Me and him?!? That's just weird!"

"Thank you!" Zelos said. "I'm not involved with Lloyd, and I'm not gay. You've got to believe me on this!" His gaze travelled among his friends, and landed on Sheena. He looked at her for a few seconds longer, willing her to understand. She looked back at him, searching.

"Okay, I believe you," she smiled. 'I understand,' she thought.
