Weekend Plans?

What is everyone up to this weekend?

Now that I am done dogsitting, I got to get the house clean. So a lot of vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping tomorrow. Other than that, probably some Overwatch as well.

Getting nails done with my mother tomorrow. Sunday we have Lord of the Dance tickets. Other than that, sleep and watching Babylon 5 with my dad.

I bought red gel polish to use so it will last until Halloween and be part of my costume. And I don't know yet. Since my mom is paying, it is up to her what we get.

I acquired the limited edition Brisk Dark Cherry Limeade Venom tie-in today.

Tomorrow, I'm going to see The Hate U Give with my dad.

Otherwise, I'm trying to reread Twilight before Tuesday when I go to see the movie's theatrical rerelease. Doubt I'll manage it though. I keep getting distracted by fanfic.

It is!

It's the 10th anniversary of the first one's release, so Fathom's rereleasing it.

Similarly, it's the 10th anniversary of Mamma Mia!, so that's coming back to theatres through Fathom Events the first week in November.

Oh, and as far as the drink's concerned, I actually haven't tried it yet. It's chilling in the fridge because it had gotten warm. We had to drive like 30 minutes (more than because we got lost thanks to a GPS mixup) to find it.

I imagine it'll be good though. I'll report back.

It'll be my first day off for 6 days and I'll be spending it cleaning, too. Good luck with yours! Also will be making a card for my dad's birthday. He's saying he doesn't want to do anything for it but I'm insisting on at least a glass of wine.

Probably some laundry, going to a plant sale at a public garden with my aunt, working on Sunday. Maybe some cooking.

What kind of plants are you looking for?

AYRT—anything that looks interesting, but especially plants that have edible fruit, scented flowers, or are drought tolerant or native. I’ve been to the gardens, but never to the sale.

I want a fruit tree or plant so bad! But not sure if any would grow in Oklahoma.

AYRT—I’m from southern California so totally different climate, but check out the Oklahoma State Extension service and especially their Master Gardener program and manual. I would guess some varieties of apple, blueberry, and cherry would do okay, but I’m not sure.

Dentist cleaning appointment, blurgh. I hate the dentist.

I need to start tidying my piles of 'am I going to donate this shit or hold onto it for another six years?' that I have around the apartment since I don't want it to be a total warzone when I go on vacation in 4 weeks and the pet sitter is over every day.

Yeah I love it, especially since I am more likely to be off work on a weekend than a weekday so it makes scheduling hassle free. :D

I do too! I keep putting it off because even though I don't want or use some stuff, I feel like the person who gave it to me will somehow know I gave it away, lol, even though they probably don't even remember ever giving me some of this stuff!
