110. OMG. It's a Prayer for Owen Meany secret. And yes, I can see it too. I doubt there's any fic, though. But hey, Rule 34 and all.

149. IAWTS. Though I pretty much wear both types of goggles (I suppose I could sum it up with 'I'm an equal-opportunity pervert), I agree that it's a ridiculous double standard.

154. I would totally read that. And, who knows, if the inspiration strikes hard enough to snap me out of my KHR and Gintama phase...

165. Horrible person? For what? Being emotionally damaged by his socially inept brother's attempts to 'save' him? He can be very frustrating, even downright infuriating, but underneath all of his anger and confusion I believe that he's a genuinely good person. He'll come around...I hope.

168. Troll? I dunno. Why do you care about what gets other people off? Why does it matter? And, pray tell, what does any of it have to with self esteem? (That's like saying that people without a scar fetish are insecure about their scars, which is quite idiotic.)

172. It's an entertaining series. I recommend it, flaws and all.

191. It is touching, I agree. But it still sometimes gives me the heeby jeebies.

Gah! I love it to death, even though I haven't read it in over a year. I really ought to. Possible one of the best books I've ever read.

I've read it twice. Its definitely one of my favorites. I love other John Irving too. He's one of my favorite authors.

I've only ever seen the movie version of The World According To Garp, but I definitely need to read it.

I would give a (small) limb to be able to write like him.

I pity him for that, but he's still a horrible person. He didn't have to go down the path he did, but his choice shows him for what he is.
I think any hopes for me of him being a good person were lost after the Chuunin exam arc.
