Mostly it's just funny that a secret that seems to basically be about how this person hates it when people try to invalidate any non-hetero readings of characters has gotten quite a few responses with people...invalidating non-hetero readings of characters! Huh!
The thing is, in most shows, when a character is introduced, the default assumption is that the character is straight. While this is mostly correct, that doesn't mean that people should always close off the possibility that it might not be. And even for characters that are established to be definitely oriented one way or the other, I don't see why it's wrong that someone is able to enjoy perceiving them another way. I mean, it's fandom; why so serious?
