How... how are either IF or LC family friendly?

Have you seen it compared to Daredevil, Punisher, or Jessice Jones? All they have to do is remove the sex parts and voila. Both Luke Cage and Iron Fist use abilities that don't create a lot of blood. No worse than an MCU movie.

Okay but you're saying 'remove the sex parts'. So... as it exists, it's not exactly family friendly?

(Anonymous) 2018-10-21 08:58 pm (UTC)(link)
No, but it is (as my original post says) the most family friendly of all the series. Also, the least popular.

NAYRT

are we talking about the characters here, or the shows

I mean either but I will admit to only minimal knowledge of any of the characters outside of their respective Netflix shows.

I'm personally just not sure I'd consider any of the MCU shows on Netflix family friendly at all, because the violence (and sex) is way amped up from say, the Avengers or something. (IMO, of course)

Uh, even if you "remove the sex parts", would the violence be considered family-friendly? Not to mention the complications of stuff like Mariah/Shades' ongoing dynamic where the sexual aspect is a significant part. We'd also have to never address her background of child sex abuse and familial dysfunction.

Violence is generally considered a lot more family-friendly than sex. Go figure.
