God knows the woman has to have attention from somewhere, positive or negative. She's always built her shtick on being edgier than Andrew Dice Clay (look him up if people were too young to know him), but that shit doesn't sell the same way anymore. When she had comedy specials in the 80s and then Roseanne on tv, she could be edited into someone charming and maternal. It's great when someone like her can spew unfiltered into the void and show her true colors. She's not used to getting negative consequences over it, lol.
