Ha! I'm sorry things didn't work out, anon. I think OCs get a lot of unwarranted hate in fandom, too. It doesn't help when so many of them are badly written Mary Sues.

AYRT: Yeah. I actually did read a few good OCs, but they were also crafted in a very specific way so that they weren't at all related to the main characters, but rather, minor characters. I'd say the best OCs honestly enhanced minor canon characters, whereas the worst overshadowed major canon characters unnecessarily.
