Second of all, I do not understand how a British actor is more diverse if he's playing a time traveler than if he isn't. Or an Australian if he's a pyromaniac.

Cast is international, not just 'casting generic white guys from Malibu' that is more typical of what the op's complaining about.

Three African-American actors, two gay actors, one gay character, one Jewish character. The CW superhero shows are a hell of a lot more diverse than 90% of what's out there.

NAYRT but yes, none of the three black actors are American. Franz Drameh and Maisie Richardson-Sellers are British, and Keiynan Lonsdale is Australian.
