I regret nothing about my fandom involvement in high school and college, I wouldn't have met some of the most important people in my life, but I sometimes wonder if I would've had a better social life if I hadn't had the internet to fall back on. I'm glad I was in fandom, but it became a crutch, not one of many things I did.

I also would've had better grades.

I don't regret my fandom involvement either, but looking back on it, I was definitely using it as a crutch for some serious issues I was having in high school and I sometimes wonder what my life would've looked like if I'd gotten help for my problems instead of pushing them down.
