I wanted VERY badly to go to a Halloween party being held by some people I know tomorrow but it's too far away and I don't have a car, and somebody gave me an offer of a ride but bailed. I'm pissed. There is at least this thing they do in my neighborhood every year on the Saturday before Halloween where they close off a good sized chunk of the street and a bunch of people wear costumes and give out candy so I'm gonna go hang out for that tomorrow morning but I didn't want to miss that party, especially because I'm not guaranteed to do anything on Halloween proper. (There's a show I want to go to but I don't have the $$ to get a ticket right now and I hope they don't sell out before I can get one.)
