You can woobify any fictional character you like. Sometimes it strikes me as ridiculous, but what people do in fandom or fiction is their business. They tend to know the difference between fiction and reality and they don't need hand-wringing "won't so.eone think of the children" types paternalistically trying to tell them how to behave inside their own heads.
