(Anonymous) 2018-10-27 03:50 am (UTC)(link)"You are talking about not being lectured about the morality of fiction , so you must be a weirdo with fucked up kinks who wants to talk about it in inappropriate spaces"
Except there are whole social media communities (tumblr/twitter) that are poisoned by people who go into spaces or fics that they don't approve of on communities people make for those kind of fics/ships with warnings and everything just to tell those people they're wrong and should die.
People are complaining about this because there are people going into spaces for something they don't like , into adult only spaces when they're minors in some cases to lecture people about how wrong they are.
So fuck off with your stupid ass fake analogy and your strawman.

(Anonymous) 2018-10-27 05:14 am (UTC)(link)This is a really frustrating argument. Because "don't come in to marked-off spaces to tell people what they're doing wrong" is a sentiment that I agree with, and it's also a different sentiment from "making moral arguments about fiction is wrong in general". And it's really frustrating trying to figure out which argument is being made at any given point.
