From my experience (and I never would believe this stuff if I did not have that experience): yes.

So, the OP could be a troll or could be fooling herself about contacting anything. But if she is contacting something, I really, really doubt it's Heath Ledger.

As someone already commented, yes you do. It's the ideomotor effect (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ideomotor_effect).

I'm not talking about actually witnessing a session with the Oujia board, I'm talking about the little poltergeist a session left behind. XD I totally understand the Ideometer Effect, and also believe it IS the explanation for the majority of "supernatural" readings.

I wish there was SOME safe way to talk to people who have passed on. There are loads of people from history that I'd love to talk to.

I don't do Ouija boards, but I've heard that one should always do ritual self-protection techniques both before and after using one, in addition to banishing rituals to be sure that one only speaks to positive/specific persons or entities...
