Yeah, in retrospect I realized that I probably should have explained myself a little more even if it meant it would be a tl;dr secret. :| Oops.

cravatized explained it well though. I feel like the rest of the fandom sees P&E shippers as mindless yaoi freaks and I'm not that. I ship other things too, really, and I don't just ship them because they're "omg hawt". Whenever fandom (i.e., kink meme lol) complains about there being an overabundance of P&E I feel a little bit of D: inside.

I feel the same about Apollo/Klavier. It's not just two hot guys, man! (although I don't deny they are both delicious manwiches)

Haha yes. D: I noticed the negative attitude towards Phoenix/Edgeworth shippers, too. In my case they're the only M/M couple I've ever shipped, so it makes me extra frustrated at being thought of as Slashgoggles McStereotype. XD;;
